Julie Anne Fehrenbacher

Meet Julie

Julie Fehrenbacher has taken great risks to move mountains through faith. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry as well as her Master’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. At what she believed was her career peak, she worked as a Registered Dietitian, Foodservice Director and Wellness Coordinator for a Public School District where she received the Bloomington Pantagraph’s “20 under 40” Award for young leaders in her community. After having her own two boys, she surrendered herself to the Lord and asked that He use her skills to build the next chapter of her life which launched her into a new role, teaching and discipling students as a science teacher in Christian secondary education. Following years of leading in the workplace and classroom, Julie was then led home to homeschool her own children and complete her book The Path to Surrender, Finding Your Way Back to the Flock. Julie then completed the School of Leadership in Dinner Church through Sioux Falls Seminary an initiative of Fresh Expressions United States to bring her experience with food, love of the Lord, and passion for people together to grow the kingdom of God here on earth.

I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the LORD and put their trust in him.

~ Psalm 40: 1-3 NIV
