Welcome! I am so glad you found your way here. Although I don’t know what path you have been walking on, I am grateful that it has led you to this time and place. You are not alone. After many years of traveling through various paths in my own life, I felt alone, fearful of the future, ashamed of where I was, and unsure how to move forward one more step. God met me in this place and began teaching me how to face the decisions of my past and give me hope for a new future filled with His presence. He put a new song in my mouth to share with the world so that you too will soon be ablaze with the fire and light inside of yourself to be living your best life!

On the outside, I believe I appeared pretty put together. I had friends, was doing well in school, socialized. I was “normal.” Many times the ways of the world can mask the struggles we have, and we can easily fool others into believing we are “fine” when we really are not. However, something cool happens when we are brave enough to face our sins… they are put into the light where they can shrivel up and lose their power over us.

Julie’s story and questions at the end of each chapter gave me insights into how Jesus wants me to love Him and how He wants me to love others. I definitely recommend this book!
